About Me

Hi, I’m Joan McCord, a 2-time Emmy-Award winning TV Producer & Director.   I've traveled the world with PineRidge Film & Television scouting locations for TV series and specials airing on such networks as; Travel Channel, Discovery International, HGTV, Food Network, and PBS stations nationwide. As a producer, it’s my job to land in a city and quickly discover what makes it tick, while also uncovering and sharing its culture, customs, local foods, art, places to see, and lifestyle experiences that reveal the essence of that destination.  I also seek out “locals” who share an inside perspective of what their city’s heart and soul is all about.

As a traveler, I’ve found that’s the best way to get to know a place.
